  I got here at about 6:57 a.m. and the two women working inside stared at me awkwardly as I tried the doors and searched for the store hours, but they aren't posted I had to look them up online. The most rude women I've run into in a while. Just a very strange social encounter all together, I get it you open at seven but you can still smile and maybe wave or something. That said what kind of coffee shop opens at seven a.m.? The day is well underway by then. Plenty of other great coffee shops!

  Former loyal customer... the new location is, well, new. I have a diet restriction, being that I am diabetic. I looked forward to my Sunday ritual, my sugar free hazelnut latte with skim milk. My husband and I were frequent customers, going at least 2-3 times a week. The staff, which we absolutely loved, would already know our order before we walked up to the counter. We were so loyal, my husband (who works at the local grocery store) turned his co-workers onto Proper Grounds. We were very excited to check out the new location, only to be extremely disappointed to find out they don't offer any sugar free syrups because they "want to stay all natural". Which I get, but COME ON! No sugar free option at all? We'll be going to a different coffe shop from now on. They do have good coffee, but very sad to say, good-bye Proper Grounds. Offer a sugar free option and this former loyal customer might be willing to return.
